The traditional house from Sârbi village, Budești commune, is representative of the historic northern Maramureș region. Documented since 1405, the village preserves 2 valuable wooden churches, built in 1639 and 1685 respectively. The village stretches along the Cosău River, at the foot of the Gutâi Mountains. Coniferous and beech forests surround the village located near the town of Cavnic.
